Dr. Curry

Dr. Scott L. Curry, DVM, Practice Owner

 Dr. Curry and his wife (Colleen) live on an acreage just outside of Newton with their family. He has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 1987. In his spare time he likes to "play farmer", go on motorcycle rides, and go boating. Dr. Curry enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially his 4 grandsons. He has multiple animals that have a huge role in his every day life. Most of his animals have been adopted so that they could have better lives.

Dr. Larson, DVM

Dr. David A. Larson, DVM, Practice Owner

Dr. Larson is married (Diane) and has three daughters. In his free time he enjoys golfing, working on his acreage, and watching college sports. He also enjoys caring for his 4 dogs, 5 cats, and 4 horses.

Dr. Conley DVM

Dr. Renee E. Conley, DVM, Associate

Dr. Conley is a graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been with the Bondurant Animal Clinic since May of 2011. She is married to her husband Dana, has a daughter (Teagan) and a chocolate Labrador named Kaci. In her spare time she likes to read, knit, and spend time with her family and friends.

Dr. Barbara Roland, DVM, Associate

Dr. Barbara Roland is a 1986 graduate of Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine.  Following her graduation, she spent her first 18 years of practice at Frey Pet Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After moving to Grinnell in 2004, she practiced part time for a few yeras at Farm and Family Veterinary Clinics at their Brooklyn and Victor locations. For the past several years, she has been working part time and/ or filling in regularly at both the Newton Animal Clinic and the Bondurant Animal Clinic.

At an Early age Dr. Roland know that she wanted to be a veterinarian. "I vividly remember when my kindergarten teacher asked everyone in the class what they wanted to be when they grew up, I answered with no hesitation- a veterinarian!" She has never had any second thoughts on her career path and she feels blessed to have benn able to follow her dreams. She enjoys all aspects of vertinary medicine, but she has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and preventative care.

Dr. Roland grew up in the Amana Colonies, and most of her family still reside there. She is married to Royal Roland, a Certified Public Accountant and together they have six wonderful choldren/ stepchildren; Nick Roland, Will Roland, Tessa Roland, Leah Roland, Ryan Rezabek, and Janelle Rezabek. She also has three grandchildren; Ethan, Delanie, and Jackson Roland.

In her spare time she enjoys attending all the activitied that her children and grandchildren are involved in. She also spends many hours caring for and exercising her Standardbred horses and attending couty fairs all across Iowa. All summer long she races them in the sulky (harness) races. Wellness and fitness classes area daily part of her life as well as her participation in water aerobics, Zumba dance,  power flow yoga, spinning and pilates classes. Her favorite event to attend is musical theater performances. Finally Dr. Roland loves caring for her four dogs, King Charles Cavalier Spaniels (Princess Nellie and Sadie Belle) and her border collies (roxie and Desiree). She also has many barn cats, who are all treasured feline companions. She is happy to meet people who love and care for their pets and hopes she can be of service to owners and patients alike.

Colleen Curry, Office Manager

Colleen Curry is married to Dr. Scott Curry. They both share their love of animals and outdoor activities. They have 4 grandsons, whom they love to spend time with. She loves spending her time with her 6 adopted dogs:Harley, Jade, Deuce, Kelly, Riley and Lexi.Colleen also has 5 cats and 3 horses that she cherishes. She enjoys boating and riding motorcycles with Dr. Scott Curry. She also likes to travel, especially to places that she has never been to before. Most of all she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Megan Russell

Megan has been with the Bondurant Animal Clinic since December 2012. She works at both the Newton Animal Clinic and the Bondurant Animal Clinic. She has 2 dogs named Baby and Chase; and 1 cat named Chloe. In her free time she likes to spend time outside. She also likes to spend time with her family and friends.

EDUCATION

Graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program in the Spring of 2015.

Brittany Arment

Brittany has been with the Bondurant Animal Clinic since August of 2014. She works at both the Newton Animal Clinic and the Bondurant Animal Clinic.  She has 1 dog named Odin and a cat named Dahlia. On the weekends she works at Petsmart. She likes to hang out with family and friends, taking Odin on walks and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. 

Education

Graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program in the Spring of 2015.
